ASACOAT SANAQ®
is obtained by a solvent-free coating of acetylisalicylic acid with glyceryl behenate.
The natural coating can prevent the direct contact of the solid actylsalicylic acid crystal with the gastric mucosa, thus reducing the risks of gastrointestinal irritation.

In addtion the coating enhances the stability of Aspirin based on the hydrophobic characteristics of the glyceryl behenate.

Sodium stearyl fumarate is used as a lubricant in capsule and tablet formulations at 0.5–2.0% w/w concentration. As an effective tablet lubricant alternative compared to magnesium stearate.
Sodium Stearyl Fumarate, offers excellent dissolution rates, is not sensitive to overblending and enhances lubrication efficiency.
